CALC High School Day Program

Teacher at the white board in class

This alternative education program serves high school students who seek a high school diploma but prefer a less traditional approach to instruction and learning. The program follows the district calendar and runs Monday-Friday. Students must complete a registration process before attending classes.

The CALC Day Program serves high school students grade 9-12, who seek a diploma but prefer a less traditional approach to instruction and learning. We have blended learning classrooms using the digital Edgenuity platform. Portions of the academic learning will be through the Edgenuity platform with teacher support, while other parts of the day will be more traditional while still including flexibility. Our environment encourages students to be themselves and to tailor their learning to their individual needs and desires.

CALC offers qualifying students a comprehensive educational alternative. The CALC staff believes that a quality educational experience is made possible through a team approach built on positive student/teacher relationships. Our teachers work together, with students, in an environment that recognizes and celebrates each person’s individual learning styles, abilities and interests. It is our hope that CALC students will experience the joy of learning, as well as academic success.
